Marty After Midnite was set to be an extensive, month-long retrospective of the films of Martin Scorsese, as part of the Cooldige After Midnite series.

The campaign starting point was finding the right photograph of Scorsese to base it around, and the selected photograph of the director in the mid-80s has the perfect mood for the late night film series. It also provided enough of a wide background to allow for more creative uses, such as in this Instagram announcement. The GrandeeCP font in a taxi cab yellow obviosuly nods to one of the featured films, Taxi Driver, and stands out from the black and white imagery.

Unfortuntely, the series was set to screen in April 2020, so due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this campaign was mostly prepped but never fully put to use.

Update: the series was revived in September 2021, and much of this work was updated and used for promotion of that slightly altered series.
